In their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 encounter on March 26, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) secured a dominant eight-wicket victory over the Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Baraspara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. The match was marked by KKR's strategic bowling and a stellar performance from Quinton de Kock

RR's Innings: RR's batting was significantly hampered by KKR's spinners, particularly Moeen Ali and Varun Chakravarthy, who applied consistent pressure and stifled the flow of runs. This tight bowling led to regular wickets, preventing RR from establishing any significant partnerships.

KKR's Chase: Chasing a modest target, KKR's opening batsman, Quinton de Kock, played a pivotal role. He remained unbeaten at 97 runs off 61 balls, guiding KKR to a swift victory in just 17.3 overs. His innings was characterized by aggressive stroke play and impeccable timing, ensuring KKR's dominance throughout the chase.

This win not only boosted KKR's position on the points table but also highlighted the effectiveness of their spin attack and the explosive batting form of de Kock. For RR, the loss marked their second consecutive defeat this season, emphasizing the need for a strategic reassessment in their upcoming matches
