Andhra Pradesh is actively transforming its educational landscape through the LEAP (Learning, Education, and Advancement through Personalized) learning model, which emphasizes AI-driven, globalized training. This initiative aims to equip students and youth with essential skills in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies, preparing them for global opportunities.

Key Developments:

Partnership with Microsoft: In March 2025, the Andhra Pradesh government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Microsoft to provide AI and cloud computing training. The program targets over 200,000 youths within a year, offering training to teachers, engineering students, and participants from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs). The initiative also includes AI training for government officials to enhance public service delivery. 

Collaboration with Google: In December 2024, another MoU was signed with Google to advance AI usage and skill development. Google's role includes offering training programs in schools and colleges, supporting startups and businesses in adopting AI tools, and integrating AI solutions in sectors like healthcare and environmental sustainability. citeturn0search0
